Maggie Clennon Reberg

Maggie Clennon Reberg (backing vocals/percussion) starred in the 2014-15 National and South East Asia Tours of Sister Act as Mother Superior. She has appeared with the opera companies of Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Atlanta, New York, Toledo and Indianapolis.  Signature roles include the title role in Iolanthe, Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, and The Witch in Hansel and Gretel. Ms. Reberg created the role of Annette in the Tom Jones/Nancy Ford musical The Game of Love, and can be heard on the original cast recording.  She also created the role of Lady Russell in the world premiere of Persuasion, an opera based upon the Jane Austen novel.  Other notable performances include Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet StreetOtello and The Beggar’s Opera,  and as Domina in A Funny Thing Happened on The Way to The Forum.  In 2012, Ms. Reberg made her debut at Lyric Opera of Chicago, in Sir David McVicar’s production of Elektra and will return to Lyric for the 2016 season opener Das Rheingold, the first installment of Lyric’s new Ring Cycle directed by David Pountney.!catwalks/c19om
